Ok, I've been guilty of this many times myself. I see it more and more on this board. When you compose an email, or post, there is something missing in that piece that the reader would see if you were having a face to face conversation. It's called inflection. It's the look on your face, it's the tone of your voice. It's very easy without inflection, to come across as inflammatory when you didn't mean to. It's why I hate email for my business. You can piss people off unintentionally. I use this rule, re-read and re-write an email at least once, more like three times, to ensure you aren't coming across as flaming someone. It really does help.
