Everyone has there own way but you can simply plug cut your bait (or leave it whole) and place in store bought rock salt. It will easily last for a couple days if you keep it on ice. Watch to make sure it doesn't start to shrivel up to bad. I usually cut and salt mine the night before. They aren't real picky at Sekiu, but you need the firmness from the brine to keep them on if you are going to run bait.
