There are community college classes available that teach the basics of fishing. Of course, there are clubs that people can join that do a good job of teaching about fishing. Our K-12 schools ought to concentrate on the basics like writing and reading and math as kids are coming out of them almost illiterate. Kids are learning alot about politically correct issues but not much about reading the newspaper or keeping track of a checkbook.
