Ever since I stepped up to the Cert. Pro series I've been tremendously impressed with Lamiglas. Phenomenal rod. However, I'm looking to purchase a 10 - 11 foot rod for jigging this winter. I've got two lami's - a nine six and a nine. My shimano is ten six but too heavy for light line fishing with jigs. However, the Shimano's a great "meat rod." I've been looking at all star rods and played around with one at sportco (99 bucks). It felt great and you can't beat the price (That's the main reason for my interest). If you've ever fished one, compare it to a lamiglas. I just might buy one this weekend. Also, is it possible to obtain a rainshadow in that pricerange?
