Cabela's fish eagle rods are made by Lammiglas. I've been in the factory and seen the fish eagle rods being assembled. Berkly IM 7 are also another problem. They went to the cheap all metal guides instead of ceramic guides and they have a high falure rate. Buzz Ramsey should be embarassed to have his name on these rods. I built a rainshadow 1143 and have been absolutly delighted with it. If you really want to see the ultimate steelhead rod, get yourself a Sage G3 962 blank.
