Thanks for the repies on the rods. I used to see the IM7s in Fred Meyer. I know the G-Loomis IM7 is a really sensitive rod. I really like the talk on the Rainshadows or Sage. A friend of mine went to Sage and they were not interested on a group deal on blanks until he told them it was Salmon /Steelhead. They then had the time of day for him. He has to get a group order of $1500, I believe it was for an initial order. I really like having a strong backbone and a light tip. Some big kings can suck eggs very lightly. Friends were telling me on the Humptulips the sensitive Loomis GL3s tips were the only way you could tell they were there. Barely moved the tip and then Whammo hookset!
