A few of my favorite myths are,

1. Salmon don't bite in rivers, that is why snagging should be legal

2. The Steelhead you catch in the rivers aren't the same ones as you catch in the open water

3. Salmon and Steelhead don't bite at night, they are all lined

4. float fishermen are inferior to fly fishermen

5. Steelhead will only eat eggs.
