I have only been lurking and posting for a year or so, but I do notice the gun topic brings all kinds out of the woods. If all you bashers took the time to read my post, I stated I take my weapon when away from my home area, because I like to go bush whacking to look for new water to fish. In the woods, i a new place,with cougar, bear, and Rednecks, to think about. I also was worried about the mind set of a man who has the balls to snag,kill,pile,teach, in his own back yard. I would not even of approached this guy if he was present or anyone else was in the vicinity. I responded to P.martin about the ease in which he thinks killing someone over a few rods is even a option. I again stated that i have never even taken the safety off my weapon in 7 years and i hope I dont have to for the next 7 years. I am well versed in proper,ethical, use of a weapon to defend ones life and to defuse a situation in which a life could be taken. I was not looking for a fight nor would i have instigated one due to my weapon being close at hand. In all reality I would of let the guy throw some punches if it was unavoidable however I would not hesitate to draw and if need be take out a kneecap to show that I plan on going home. But only if a group of his friends were at the snagger 101 session at the trailer park, and decided to join in. And only in the case of me not being able to run,jog,skip,walk,hobble, away from any potential encounter of a physical nature. I would do anything possible to avoid ever having to draw a weapon, life is precious and I never would want to have to live with being responsable for the loss of one....

The only thing fishy here is the dead quilcene fish in you naysayers fridge.. I posted about seeing snaggers a month ago on the Quilcene, even with big halibut sticks by their side. look at other posts its the weapon of choice for idiots. I dont know what water you cross on the quilcene but the water i crossed both times only required hip waders i did get a little wet in the foot this past week. Why bother its worthless.Anyone who thinks I am feedng you a line of bullsh-- take a stroll down quilcence snagfest about a 100 yards or a bit more from the rogers street access and take a look for the back yard that has the most salmon piled up on his river access ask the fella if he was happy to get his meat rods back, ask him how his kids are doing in snagger school, ask him if he has a trip to the coast in the near future.. until then go snag a few more boots on the QUIL
