Put in at Cady Park on the Snohomish at 11:30 am today(yes, I know it's high, but we got 3 on Sunday). Noticed right away that the river is down a foot or two but the color hasn't changed. Went upriver, casting to a few spots that "usually" hold fish, but nothing. Before you know it, I'm at Hwy 522 and Mother Nature does to me what a cow does to a flat rock. By the time I got back to Cady Park, I was soaked to the bone(yes, I had rain gear), the boat was full of water and the temperature had fallen 10 degrees. Saw no fish roll, no fish caught, but did see a guy in a drift boat behind Douglas Bar island with three rods out. I assumed that the other two guys were lying on the floorboards of the boat, no?

I'll be out on Friday, but probably on the Sky. This rain may hurt, the gauges on the rivers are already turning back up.
