I'm hoping someone will be really generous here - we are out of towners from Portland and get up there but once a year so we aren't going to wreck your secret spot!

We unwittingly planned the first day of our grand chum adventure for next Thursday not realizing the fishing would be sub par due to tribal netting. Can we expect decent fishing if we just go North next to the bank away from the netting or is it pretty much a bust when they are there?

Where else could we target chums or silvers in our boat or from the bank and expect to meet with wild success (we're staying in Hoodsport so don't want to stray too far)?

Any advice on the mouths of the Dewatto or Tahuya Rivers? Is it possible to troll or cast for Silvers there this late? If we were to hit the Skokomish should we just bank it and from where or can you fish the mouth somehow?

Would we be better off just going to Johns Creek (please say no!) or where? Is Kennedy Creek close by and a good option?

Please help! E-mail me if you don't want to share it with the whole world (I promise to keep zipper lipped).
