Actually Spawnout, the levels were measured in parts per billion, not parts per trillion, and while I do think the story was a bit overblown, it did accurately portray the confliction among health authorities about how to interpret the data. It also does show that this stuff is indeed in the salmon in troubling levels. Geoduck is right through, its in everything we eat. King, there's not a lot of ka-ching in the newspaper business right now. Both the Times and P-I have been losing money for the last few years. I applaud the reporters for getting that story. We might not want to hear it, but we need to hear it -- remember it next time some politicians launch assaults on the Clear Air and Clear Water acts.
