I cannot decide what rod to get fro trout: I am going to use it for throwing spinners and floating powerbait off the bottom. The biggest fish would be around 16-18 inches with most 10-14 inches.

There is a lot of information and i GREATLY appreciate the people who have the time to help me out with this!

I have it narrowed down to a SR 720-2 and a SR 782-2.

Here is the info and ratings for the 720:
Length: 6' Power: 0 Pieces:2
When anglers asked for a two-piece version of our 720, we made it with GL3 graphite to keep it as light as possible without sacrificing durability. Just what the trout angler ordered: A softer rod that you can transport in your car or backpack, with unmatched sensitivity.

6' 1 - 4 1/32 - 1/8 Mod-Fast Ultra-Light

And the 782:
Length: 6'6" Power: 2 Pieces: 2
A good all-around spinning rod for big trout in smaller streams. Handles spinners and small lures extremely well. That makes it a nice small stream bass rod for canoeists and rafters, and the two-piece configuration makes it easy to store and transport. Plus it handles a nice range of line sizes for almost any spinning application.

6'6" 4 - 8 1/16 - 5/16 Fast Light
