Now here is an interesting read...

On the one hand, we've got the Sierra Club, a well-intentioned enviro group that generally is supportive of hunting and fishing, even if they can get extreme when it comes to accessing places to both hunt and fish.

On the other hand, we've got the Sea Shepherds and PETA. Sea Shepherds, also well-intentioned, but openly admitting of being straight up eco-terrorists...and PETA, I think we all know what a bunch of yahoos and whackos they are.

Paul Watson, leader of the Sea Shepherds, got himself elected to the Sierra Club BOD last year...and this year at a PETA rally told the folks there that if they can just get three more of "their types of folks" elected to the Sierra Club BOD, they will change the entire agenda of that organization (the Sierra Club).

So, we've got the director of Sea Shepherds, using his position as a board member of the Sierra Club, to openly and clearly admit that he'd like to co-opt the entire membership base and political power of the Sierra Club and make it into another PETA organization.
