Funny you asked that FnP ... that's the same question we got asked by the RCMP when we hit a speed trap at 2 AM in the morning around Toad River ... in the total middle of nowhere!

Never seen any gendarme anywhere in this area before and there were about ten of them parked over the crest of a hill. Sky lit up as nearly all turned on their lights as we came over crest of hill ... no ticket though, phew!!

Parker ... we may abandon that 30+ mpg idea as we look around. Instead, we might just go with a diesel. About $1 gallon less all through Canada and quite a bit cheaper up here. Looks like that Dodge 2500 quad cab might be part of family a little earlier than we planned

The Durango will likely get put into permanent AK duty and stay behind ... heck we'll be able to knock off a payment a year with the fuel savings from the trip istelf!
