Those fish can be traveling anywhere around Squaxin Island- fast too! Finding them isn't too much of a problem. The trick is staying with them once you find them.

My hot tickets are trolling hot pink or orange Wiggle Warts (no weight) or a #2 orange Spin N Glo on about a 1/2 oz of lead just under the surface. Have no idea why this works, but it is killer. Sometimes I drop to a #4 Spin N Glo and 2 1/2" hootchy.

Here's another good option if you get tried of spinners/spoons... Rig a black/pearl Sluggo (pink work style) with a 3/4 oz bullet sinker (like bass fishing) and cast that sucker! Make it dance and hang on!

I'll be kicking off Blackmouth here in 20 days- give or take.
