just curious how many have you owned? I've got 25 of them, most of them 1082's, 1083's 1141's 1085's and 962's. In the 3 years I've owned them I've broke 4 of them, 2 on hooksets, 2 my own fault, one got wrapped around the motor while I was turning, the other I was leading a 25# king with a 1083 and, yep you guessed it, had my hand up above the cork about a foot. Are they as good as a gl3? nope. Better than a gl2? yep. Want better than a gl3, try one of the new Titanium's when they hit the market, less money.
