I'm brand new here.
I finally found a forum with people that share my love of Salmon and Steelhead!
My son has been coming with me since he was 5 years old.
He has caught on like you wouldn't believe!
Last year he and I had some magical days on some awesome rivers.
This was his biggest salmon last year, I guessed him at 40+ .
This fish was one of 5 he landed that day on the Sacramento river near Red Bluff California.
We drift fish from the bank.
I did the netting and didn't let on how big he was till I had him in the net.

My kid hammered the steelies last year too! (15 in one day!)
