Kwikfish on the outgoing tide if you have a Columbia River anchor system and troll plug cut herring on the incoming tide. You can troll herring on the outgoing tide as well, just need to go up to a 4 or 5 oz weight on your dropper. The Cowlitz gets a pretty decent run, and the early forecast calls for a run similar to last year. The Bonne forecast is 250K, an increase of about 80K over last year, and last year was one of my best springer seasons ever. They are also forecasting a lot of 5 salt fish in the Willamette run, so the early fishing could see some big Springers!! Man, I am getting excited already
