This guy was on a radio show (hannity or something??) and got ripped a new one.
It was the most embarrassing moment(s) i've seen. I actually felt bad for the guy - and I think he's a slimy jerk...
They were debating the idea that "Bush lied" when leading the country into war. This guy had no evidence that Bush did lie - but admitted he was probably acting on bad information - but beleived it to be true.
At one point he said "well, I never actually said Bush lied in my book"
Interviewer:
"well, on page ### it says "...Bush lied..." (he read a small paragraph to include context. Then he went on to read from several other pages where the good doctor clearly claims Bush lied.
Afterward, there was a long silence - and the Dr finally says "um, so now what?"
Interviewer - clearly amazed at the Dr's lack of an explination or 'come back' of any kind - says "well, I guess the listeners now have an idea of your credibility".
Dr: "I guess so..."
Also, earlier, he was hammered on the fact that he is doing a dis-service to his 'profession' by crossing a serious line of 'analyzing' a person who he has never actually met.
In the end it was clear the guy had a political agenda, was full of crap, and was just looking to get a few bucks on book sales.
