Its easy to blame anyone but yourself for the condition we find our environment. I mean since the avg. American has about 1000 x the impact on the environment than the avg. citizen of the planet elsewhere in the world. It easy to say DONT DRill FOR OIL IN THE AWAR it will screw up the environment. As you drive down the road in your SUV full of foreign Oil. It's better to decimate the sea floor and fishery off the coast of Kuwait at least it make syou feel better because you do not see it happening. That SUV is most likely pulling an Aluminum boat . Chances are that Aluminum was produced from electricity generated from the Columbia river . The mighty Columbia once holding the largest Salmon run of any river in the history of the world . Now it holds runs of about 2% of it's once glorius capacity and most of them are hatchery fish. But hey that has nothing to to with you because big business, the govt would generate power even if there was no market for it ,right? I suggest you look up stream of every item in your life to it's effect on the environment here or elsewhere in the world. When you are done come back and tell me how it's someone elses fault that the world fish pops are in decline and probably heading for a ecological disaster.
