First time fishing with this particular board member so I won't name him. Launch at Sultan on the SKY. Drift around the corner and decide to anchor in front of the rip rap for a while. Oh CRAP!!! Current WAY too fast. Hook snags bottom, boat nearly submerges, anchor is fouled so pulling it up requires lining up current. Just about to cut line when the anchor comes loose. Three sets of dirty pants to change. The only thing that kept us from getting very wet was one of us leaning out over the bow to sort of counterbalance the boat. Judging from some recent posts, this particular evolution should be the subject of mandatory boat training for anyone launching there. It seems to be a common occurance that doesn't always turn out as happily as it did for us.
