I didn't get in before the topic was closed on Curtis H. post about springers and his recent sucess. I just want folks to know I know this young man and have fished along side him and his grandpa up in Canada at Sheridan Lake. Played football with his Dad in high school. Curtis is s good young man and as enthusiastic a young fisherman as you will find.
As you can see from his posts he is very enthusiastic and at times a bit over the top, like many of us were in our early years. Difference is we didn't have folks to read and critique our every word (internet). Lucky us.
Curtis has a special bond with his grandpa, loves to fish and wants to be out there getting it on, on the river. Wouldn't we all love to have our kids this interested in fishing. Curtis will learn what is and what isn't appropriate to post, develop his perspective of catching and respecting the resource, he is a smart young man. In the meantime I hope folks can refrain form attacking the young man and provide guidance vs flaming on him. I'm sure he will take the responses he has received and relook at his posts and how he approaches diseminating information.
To you Curtis....fish on,let your actions (and Pics) speak, hope you, your Grandpa and the Sh*tzus are doing well. Seth and I will always remember looking over on Sheridan and seeing you trolling a Sh*tzu behind your boat.
How do you rig a Sh*tzu?
