i read the TDC a couple years before the movie came out. Thought the film kind of sucked. Hot woman in it but Hanks was a poor choice for the lead imo.
Wish i would have read The Eiger Sanction but I saw the movie as a kid so I didnt have that option. Trevanian is one of my favorite authors.
Red Dragon was another book i read before seeing Manhunter. Great book and decent movie. liked it better than the remake titled Red Dragon.
Too bad James Frey got outed as a fraud. Million little pieces was an excellent book i came across years before fat ass oprah put it on her "list" of things to read. same with Elie Weisel's books. Thanks for putting up with my crap for taste in literature if it can be called such.
