I spent several months doing some work in a Potato processing plant. It was about 85% Hispanic out on the floor, with many having worked there since the late 60's or early 70's. ( these guys worked for the union so don't even get me started on that pile of crap)

Anyway, they understood me just fine when I was telling them something they WANTED to hear.. but somehow lost all comprehension of what I was saying when they DIDN'T like what I was saying..

They pulled the race card faster than Al Sharpton whenever I suggested that they might be less than worth paying for the job they were NOT doing.. then claimed to understand NO english at all, yet were able to spit out plenty of it when they went and BItched about whatever it was that was pissing them off.

I understand and read english when I get my pay check, and can ask 1 million questions about it " in english " But I can't understand a damn word of english when Brent is jacking me up..

What really cracked me up were the " real vocal anti whitey types that could NOT speak spanish ".. They had the " Lets all not go to work day because we don't like the Imigration laws " day last year, and it was the poser non-spanish speaking wankers that did not show up to work.
