Unlike other characters, Gollum speaks in an unusual manner: For example, he uses "we" instead of "I", and "us" instead of "me". He also uses his own versions of words, similar to the original words. For instance, he would say "tricksy" in lieu of tricky, "hobbitses" instead of hobbits, "birdses" instead of birds, "orcses" instead of orcs, etc.
