I have found that I can run two penn electrics for about 10 hours of fishing with out charging the battery at all. I normally wouldn't do that but I have a few times and was suprised how little power these dr's really use (ditto on the EZ-Pull pot pullers.)

My honda 8 puts out 6 amps and that is definitly enough to run downriggers, electronics, lights and Car stereo with amplifier all at the same time.

Your pretty much bullet proof any way since you can always pull start the Yami.
