I have recently been reading some disturbing news articles regarding Sarah Palin and her support for the Pebble Mine development near Bristol Bay Alaska. It appears that Ms. Palin is in favor of a copper and gold mine operation that would likely kill off the largest run of Sockeye salmon in the world. When I first heard of the Mine news, I thought Ms. Palin would actually fight the Mine company due to the fact that her husband is a Bristol Bay fisherman and supports salmon (and thousands of other wildlife) habitat. WAS I WRONG. What a sell out. The almighty $ wins again.
