G Loomis IMX 1021 Blank for Sale.

This is the blank that was used to make the HSR 1021c. The blank is the color of the IMX line of rods, not a 'blank' color offered like today. Blank is no longer available today from GLoomis.

This blank falls in line with the 1023 and 1025 and is considered an ultra magnum taper. If you haven't seen the blank the best I can describe it is that it has a big power butt section and the rod tapers down dramatically at the ferrule. The finished rod is capable of delicate presentations to drifting with heavy weight. Power in the butt section locks up fish quickly.

Please note that the G Loomis label with the blank's specs is also included and will assist in warranty situations.

It's a heck of blank. A hard to find classic.

As soon as I sell this blank, I will be listing 4 Ken Wiebe cork handle kits orginally purchased in the mid '90s timeframe. I believe the cork is about 14 years old and I can tell you that this cork is a heck of lot better than what is available today. (no dust/glue fills, etc.)
