And who hired Ty in the first place? I think he had ONE ten win season under his belt for all teams he coached and that was with Notre Dame his first season there - hell, I could have coached ND to ten wins if I inherited that program!

Back on topic, the A's are great at developing talent, producing star players, then selling/trading them to develop more players. They never quite get there, so whatshisface should work out fine for Seattle's coach.
