Zane Grey was by far a better writer when it came to his fishing exploits than Hemingway IMO. That and he was the greatest anmgler of his day,possibly of all time. Not just regarding 1000 pound Marlin either,but he was an alll around fisherman,tuna,swordfish,and Florida tarpon,bonefish,and Northwest steelhead. The dude put his money where his mouth was. I wish I could be more like Grey.
