Many good men (some on this forum) have fought to help other nations to stop the spread of Communism in their countries, and now we have more than one outspoken Communist working in our Gov't. That concerns me.

You know, FDR's administration was chocked full of Communist sympathizers and we survived that so I doubt that the new guy can do too much damage. He seems to be a bit of a knuckle head though. He was arrested here during the WTO debacle ten years ago. Was he a looter or an unemployed protester then?

As for the President's big speech on Tuesday, I just received the automated call from our school district about it this afternoon. I am reserving judgment until the speech is made public on Monday. I really don't see how telling kids to work hard and get the best education possible is a bad thing. As for the dopey assignment that the Dept of Education seems to think is necessary, that is just more of the same from goofy administrators in the world of education.

BTW, Bush the elder gave a very similar speech to the kids back during his term and shockingly the left screamed indoctrination.

You guys shouldn't be too hard on Kanetok, he only hates those that are on the right of him. That only includes most of the free world. smile After reading his thoughts for the last few years I'm pretty sure that only his shadow on a sunny day stands to his left. Good luck with the fishing trip. smile
