Aaron, thanks for the info....I did have the same problem with the "old" style with the velcro strap and I too would feel the same way if I was treated as you were. In all fairness though the new models are lock solid. They actually have two notches that the front clips into and rubber lanyard with a hook in the back instead of the velcro. Even with the back unattached I have a hard time forcing the front toe clip out to change the insoles...I do not see any way they could ever pop out like the old style did....hopefully these are just a great improvement. So far, so good.
