Good for him -- I think there's a good chance he'll have a happier life by making this choice, but it's hard to know of course...

I wonder (hope?) if it's possible and NCAA legal to get a comprehensive insurance policy on his physical well-being for the next year (insuring his considerable ability to secure some ~$20M in guaranteed money). It seems like it's in *everyone's* best interest to insure kids in this situation (parents, kids, NFL teams, and even the insurers who make a buck), but still I wonder how the premium payments would work, and what they'd run.
