Edgar Martinez is a class act. He and Steve Largent are my favorite athletes from Seattle. It is not what they did on the field so much as how they carried themselves off the field. You can keep your high-profile players like A-Rod and such. I'll stick with the regular guys like Edgar who come to work everyday prepared to give it their all. He was a class act. Regardless if he makes it to the HOF or not in the coming years, he will always be my favorite M.
