40hp Mercury, Tiller, Jet


-here is your Classic Northwest Sled…..these Smoker Crafts were and still are a very well built boat I wish they still made one like this today..these boats have 22” sides!!!

Can you say safe freeboard!!!

unlike the silly 15” sides we are stuck with today.


-Motor is a 40HP Mercury Tiller Jet early 80's, Electric start , 130lbs comp, Runs like a top, this motor screams as it should,

-I serviced the motor and cleaned out the carb, greased the pump and made sure it was ready to go. It needs nothing.


-Jet pump is in excellent cond, the shoes is perfect and not beat to $hit like most are, the grates are perfect as is the jet impeller.


-Hull is in really good shape has a couple little dings here and there, but no major crashes, it has two small patches right under the nose from the ‘ol river anchor swinging trick, it has two skid plates under the front bottom that has probably saved her over the years, it popped up on step in 30 feet from a slow idle, interior is wide open, also has two oar lock mounts for boon dogging with oars. also has a river anchor and rope ready to go.


-Fuel, has two 6 galloon cans, I cleaned out the one and installed a new hose the other can looks good and dry but should have a little fuel sloshed through it and dumped on the burn pile, just to make sure it’s clean.


Trailer is real nice and not some rusted POS, new lights in the box, need installed, The bearings should be repacked as I have not done them.


Overall a real nice clean package, the first person to land $3000.00 Firm cash in my hand will have a nice sled. the boat sells itself a real nice clean entry level sled.


I will run the boat for the buyer in the slew, no joy rides I work long hours and have kids so spare time is very precious!!!
