Had a friend stop by the other day. Showed him around the house and such. He saw the feeder, so I showed him how it worked, and filled the feeder.

A few hours later I was cleaning the office and I heard this "click.....thump. Click..........thump." coming from inside the shop.

I looked out of the office door, and my hen turkey was stepping on the treadle, while she and the tom ate. First time I put food in it, and the first time they saw it with food. Turkeys are smarter than you think.
