Hello, the rumor is there will be a Sockeye season this year. The WDFW will probably spring it on us like they did last year right around 4th of July weekend. Any case you missed last year it is combat fishing at it's finest on Saturday and Sunday. Just to give you an idea, when you are leaving the bar at 2 am thats the time you must go and get your boat and head to the launch and you might make it on to the water by day break. And you thought you had to get up early for Chinooks!
