I got curious about this fishery and called the folks at the Ballard locks. It appears that the official fish counts start today and that it will be a few weeks before they will be able to determine the run size. Last years' counts started on the 12th of June. Take a look at the Sockeye page on the wdfw website for last years' info. I printed mine just for referrence. Maybe Mike can get in touch with Stacie (sp?) from WDFW and have her give us some more insight on the issue, or Stacie, if you're out there.........Please let us know. Andy
