It's not a pretty picture given the global trends IMHO. There is of high a level of attrition of the spawning population. Last slot restriction Staff favored the lower end to provide more pounds for the commercial sector. Sportfishers have been pushed down river to create a smaller sportfishing area.

If Staff were concerned about our resource why would they target larger commercial catch and limit sport opportunity/
