How the heck can indicator fishing be boring if it's beating other methods of fishing????

I was fishing up in BC two years ago, fishing two rods with chronies and ended up having to put one away as the fishing was that productive. Two rods is legal up there... two flies on the same line isn't.

I was fishing Phil Rowley's chronies... either a Black Sally or a Chromie.

The Chromie is an odd fly as it's got a silver body with a red holographic rib. One wouldn't think a silver chronie would work unless one understood that all emerging pupa have silvery bodies because of gasses under the skin. The chromie is sort of a universal chronie as it works no matter what color pupa is emerging.
