Unfortunately, that means lots of bumping and scraping while floating, which is kinda like riding down the river in my boat.

The fact that Brewer is feeling the stone move is a good sign so far. And he's not the first or last person to self medicate with beer.

Dr. Rick, that sounds like a semi endorsement of beer to relieve pain.

The only medication I have had that made me want it again was Verced (sp?). Everything else made me feel like crap. I had back surgery last May. I had them take me off the pain meds a few hours after waking up, as the meds made me feel so bad. The next day I got out (early because I was off the pain meds) and after the drive from Kirkland to Post Falls I got in my chair, looked at the bottle full of pain meds and told my wife to throw them away and get me a beer. A few kokanees and I was much better.

Stick with the plan Brewer. Sounds like your strategy is working. I have not experienced the pleasure of a kidney stone yet, but I have seen others, so I hope your just drinking beer for fun soon.
