nope a swivel off the back split ring with a siwash off the swivel. i've hooked a couple fish on spoons and they all threw the hook. i was thinking a swivel between the hook and spoon would give them less leverage to toss my gear. [/quote]

I can't say I have ever seen a steelhead or salmon throw a siwash except at our feet, all we use is 2/5 to 1/2 oz. spoons and size 3 and 4 spinners with split ring to the old rvrfshr hooks and the oems. Not sure if its the design or pure luck but both styles dig way in. Maybe, and don't get me wrong(I am no expert although my signature says different) but are you keeping alot of tension on the fish?

I am kind of curious on this now, as it seems every once in a while someone comes along and brings up hook to land ratios.
