They ain't silver spoon fed... They're have the best coach, proves that a well trained group of white boys can beat anyone in the country..

I find it interesting that when the NBA Olympic "Dream team" needed a coach, they didn't choose an NBA coach, but rather Coach K... Says a lot about the differences between the NBA versus college ball...

The "dream team" (88 Olympic squad) was coached by Chuck Daley, NBA coach of the Pistons. I believe that it was Larry Brown who said that you did more coaching in the first period of an NBA game then you did in a whole college game. I understand that many do not like the NBA game, but devising a defense to stop Kevin Durant has to be one of the toughest things that a basketball coach can try to do.

Go Sox,
cds

I was talking about the current NBA olympic team that most recently went to Beijing and took gold. Didn't mean the original dream team in 88....

I agree to some extent, finding a way to guard a guy like Durant or Kobe or Carmelo is damn near impossible, but they just don't play great team help defense in the NBA like they do at the collegiate level.
