Here's the real deal........We are ALL teachers......What are WE, collectively, teaching?

Now the toughy.........Who still considers themselves a student?

For me, I like to try to keep a fairly open mind......I never know where the truth will come from......and the truth is still just that......the truth. Whether I enjoy where it comes from, has nothing to do with it.

My wife and youngest daughter had an interesting recent moment. This daughter is a teacher by profession. She called her Mom and expressed her concerns about her difficulties in controlling this year's uncommonly unruly kids. Mom said, "Can I come and talk to your class for about an hour?"

I wasn't there, but the story I got was that my wife, who doubles as an office supervisor...among other things.....talked with the class and demonstrated to them how they would be needing to learn this year's lessons in order to know the answers to future questions. She gave them a few examples. Interesting technique, I thought. She was able to inspire the kids and they were asking the question, "What's the answer?....What's the answer?" Long story short, daughter is having fun with the same class that she was just having such a tough time with.

Just thought I'd share that little, hopefully successful, story.
