Well, as for all of the true native fish, i doubt all of them are gone. Remember the guy last year that landed a 52lb king out off desmoines? I doubt that was a hachery fish or a spawn from a hatchery fish. But who knows. I just think that if a clipped fin makes the journey and spawns and it's offspring makes it back too to spawn, then it deserves to live.

It should be considered a wild fish if all the true wild natives are gone. It's spawn and generations after might actually have a chance to get a foothold in the system they were introduced into. In a system with natives, this may be a bad thing like everyone says, but if there's no natives left then these returning spawn of a spawn of a spawn are now the new "Natives" in the system. In my opinion, they should be treated the same. There's no real need to keep them. Is there? But i don't care if you they them do keep em. I just prefer not too. It's all part of the sport. It's all good.

As for fishing, we went last sunday, wednesday and this sunday at redondo and got 4 at around 5-7# a piece. Nothing special. Lots of bait. Where's the fish???
