Speechless......

I used to come to this board, JUST to read Sol's funny & quick witted posts. Often blunt, and right to the point, but usually dead nutz on, and worth the read.

My first time out trying it on the bank at the Tall Timbers hole, a bunch of Jacka**'s came drifting by dropping M-80's in the water, shooting potatoes, spraying water and wearing viking helmets. And so I was introduced to the SRC, and (sort of) met Sol the first time on the river (nothing personal 'boutthe Jackazz comment fellas....I didnt know then what i know now).

I remember when Sol had the guts to post publicly to the board that he was an alcoholic. Shortly after that I saw him at the pullout on the bogie. Struggling with the same myself, I told him how much I admored his courage, and thanked him for his honesty. The second, and last time I met Sol. What a nice guy he was about it.

I didnt know Sol at all. But through this board, I did. Though I didnt always agree with it, I honestly admired and respected the life that he led.

So many lives touched, and he didnt even know it. ...........RIP Sol.
