I have the New England Firearms Handi Rifle in a bunch of calibers and shot guns. Essentially the same rifle your talking about. I think the two companies merged a few years back. Its a fun rifle and you can get several different calibers/barrels for it. Its not a real accurate rifle, meaning it is way over 1 MOA at 100 yards but will hold groups that are reasonable for the kill area on a deer or elk under 150 yards. I prefer it without a scope and use the iron sights so I'm not tempted to push the accuracy limits. Dogfish is 100% correct in his recoil assessment and you will want to get a nice recoil pad for it.
