well in that case it would be a matter of stocking issue.

Generally - in my region - we don't stock our lakes with fish from programs outside of our own stocking programs.

I approve all the permits for stocking fish into private ponds (trout, warmwater and grass carp) but we don't do stocking permits for people to plant public waters unless it is with grass carp.

That is not to say that the bio wouldn't be interesting in doing this - especially if it would add fish without being an extra cost to the state.

We just have never had anyone offer to plant large numbers of fish like that.

Sounds like a cool project. With it being a put and take fishery, right off I can't see where there would be a lake concern... but I don't know anything about that particular lake - so maybe it would be a problem there.
