It has to do with the age of the lake. Some lakes are the color of tea and some are even darker. These lakes are old ones. Lake Howard in the seven lakes area is the same way almost as clear as glass. Some one will probably call me a liar but this is what I read some where or heard it spoken. Not too sure but.
