If the GOP can find someone who...

1. Isn't a total fruit loop
2. Can get the Tea Party behind them
3. Is trustworty
4. Isn't a religious zealot, and
5. Is viruntly anti-Obama

...then they'll have something to take to the voters...but they haven't got anyone who can get more than two or three of those characteristics straight, hence the already big field always looking to get bigger.

Unfortunately the only way to satisfy #2 is to violate #'s 1 and 4, right off the bat, so until the 'Baggers are relegated to the dustbin, the Republicans are fukked.
